Every puppy travels in a clean, cozy crate with soft bedding and access to water, in climate-controlled conditions. We partner only with trusted pet transport professionals who are trained to handle puppies with care. Rest assured, whether by land or air, your little one will be monitored and cared for at every step, minimizing stress and keeping them as comfortable as possible. We also make sure all required health checks and paperwork (such as veterinary health certificates for air travel) are completed before departure, so your puppy is fully cleared for a safe trip.

Delivery Options

We offer several convenient transport methods to get your puppy home to you. Depending on your location and preference, you can choose from ground transport, flight nanny service, air cargo shipping, or in-person pickup. Each method is reliable and pet-friendly. Below we explain how each option works and its benefits, so you can decide what’s best for you and your new pup:

Ground Transport

Ground transport means your puppy travels by ground vehicle (such as a specialized pet transport van) directly to your region. This door-to-door delivery option is handled by professional pet couriers who drive your puppy right to your area. During the trip, the driver makes regular stops to tend to the puppies – giving them potty breaks, small meals, and comforting attention. The vehicle is climate-controlled to keep the environment at a safe temperature, and puppies are securely crated for safety while still having space to move and relax.

Advantages of Ground Transport: This method offers very personalized care throughout the journey. The puppy remains on the ground the entire time, which can be gentler for puppies who might be nervous about flying. Your pup gets one-on-one attention from the handler during stops, and the delivery comes right to your doorstep so you don’t need to travel to an airport. Ground transport is a great choice for shorter distances or when you want your puppy to have continuous human supervision on the road.

Flight Nanny Service

Our flight nanny service provides a personal chaperone for your puppy on a commercial airline flight. A trained flight nanny will accompany your puppy in-cabin (as carry-on) from our nearest airport to your nearest major airport. Throughout the flight, your puppy is by the nanny’s side – under the nanny’s seat in a soft, airline-approved pet carrier – receiving comfort and reassurance. The flight nanny watches over your pup, keeps them calm, and tends to any needs (like offering water or simply providing companionship). Upon arrival, the nanny personally meets you at the airport to hand off your puppy safely.

Advantages of Flight Nanny: Your puppy is never alone during travel – they get constant care and supervision. Flying in-cabin means the puppy is in a pressurized, temperature-controlled environment the entire way, just like the passengers. This option minimizes stress since a friendly human is with your puppy at all times, able to provide petting and soothing if needed. It’s an excellent choice for long-distance domestic travel when you want the fastest delivery with maximum comfort for your pup.

Air Cargo Shipping

For longer distances or international destinations, we can also arrange air cargo shipping via pet-safe airlines. In this method, your puppy flies in a special pressurized, climate-controlled compartment of the airplane, separate from the passenger cabin.

We partner with reputable airlines that have dedicated live-animal transport programs, ensuring pets are handled gently and kept safe during flights. Your puppy travels in a sturdy, airline-approved crate with cozy bedding and water, and we strive to book direct flights whenever possible to shorten travel time. Once the plane lands, your puppy can be picked up at the airline’s pet cargo facility (or customs area for international shipments), where you’ll be reunited.

Advantages of Air Cargo: Air cargo is often the quickest way to get your puppy to you over very long distances. It allows us to deliver puppies to international locations and far-off regions that might not be easily reachable by ground. Airlines that handle pet cargo have teams trained in animal care, and they prioritize the well-being of pets during the journey. While your puppy won’t have a person right next to them as with a flight nanny, they will still be checked on by airline staff and kept comfortable. This option is efficient and safe, making worldwide delivery possible.

In-Person Pickup

We always welcome families to pick up their puppy in person if they wish. You can choose to travel to our location to meet and collect your new puppy yourself. In-person pickup gives you the opportunity to see where your puppy has been raised and to meet us at Elite Mastiff.

We’ll schedule a pickup appointment at a time that works for everyone. When you arrive, we’ll provide all the necessary paperwork, your puppy’s health records, and any travel supplies (like a small carrier) if needed. From there, you can bring your puppy home by car or even as a carry-on with you on a flight back – whatever suits your travel plans.

Advantages of In-Person Pickup: This method eliminates any third-party transportation – you are the one bringing your puppy home, which many new owners find reassuring. There’s no added shipping fee or travel stress for the puppy beyond the trip home with you. You also get the benefit of meeting your puppy face-to-face right away and perhaps spending a little time with us, asking any questions before you head home. It can be a heartwarming experience to personally pick up your puppy and see their excitement as they head home with their new family.

Shipping Logistics & Costs

Elite Mastiff will handle all the logistics of arranging your puppy’s transportation, no matter which method you choose. We will coordinate scheduling, book any necessary flights or ground transport, and prepare your puppy for travel (including providing the travel crate and completing health documentation).

Please note: while we organize the shipment, the buyer is responsible for all shipping fees and any delivery insurance. The shipping fee covers the pet courier’s charges or airline ticket, the travel carrier, and if applicable, insurance to protect your puppy during transit. We discuss these costs with you beforehand so there are no surprises, and we’ll only proceed with your approval. We do not profit from shipping – you pay the carrier or airline’s charges at cost. Our goal is to keep the process transparent and straightforward, ensuring your puppy’s journey is booked efficiently and safely.

• Provide Comfort and Care: After traveling, your new puppy will need some rest, water, and a small meal. Have a quiet, safe space ready for them at home so they can unwind and explore their new surroundings at their own pace. With plenty of love and patience, they’ll settle in quickly after the trip.
• Stay in Touch: Please feel free to contact us to confirm your puppy’s safe arrival and let us know how they’re doing. If you have questions or need guidance after the trip, remember our support doesn’t end at delivery – we’re here for you as you welcome your new family member.

Buyer Responsibilities Upon Delivery

When your puppy is on the way, we’ll keep you updated on the estimated arrival time and any instructions for pickup or delivery. Once your puppy arrives home, there are a few important steps we ask every new owner to take:

• Be Present for Delivery: Make sure you or a trusted adult is available at the agreed time and place to receive your puppy. Be at home for a doorstep delivery, or arrive on time with a valid ID if you are picking up at an airport or cargo facility.
• Inspect Your Puppy: As soon as you receive your puppy, give them a gentle once-over to ensure they appear healthy and alert after their journey. It’s normal for a puppy to be a bit tired or nervous from travel, but they should still be responsive and in good condition. If you notice anything unexpected or have any concerns, let us know right away.
• Vet Check Within 48 Hours: We require that you schedule a wellness exam with your veterinarian within the first two days (48 hours) of your puppy’s arrival. This post-travel vet check is important to confirm that your puppy is healthy and to address any travel-related issues (like mild dehydration or stress) if present. It also serves to validate our health guarantee by having a professional examination soon after delivery.
